Scott is a self-trained artist living in New York City. In between raising his family, working as a dentist, and building a collections of skulls and bones, Scott practiced his painting, creating more than a hundred canvases., Inspired by classic fantasy, comics, and nature, Scott paints in a variety of styles and genres, playing with landscapes, still-lifes, and portraits, sharing his work with friends and family.

He painted superheroes on the walls of his son’s childhood bedroom, princesses (and more superheroes) for his daughter, and epic canvases of ballerinas, medieval classics, and tender windows into the future for his wife of more than fifty years. He even applied his skills to building some of the most elaborate dioramas for his kids’ school projects, sometimes even letting them help.

Scott’s paintings hang in the homes of so many friends and family, works of love generously shared from his passion and generosity and joy of creating art.
